At Mexx, we recognise that our business has an impact on people and the planet. Change takes time: that is why we are improving our practices step by step. Mexx aims to combine commercial strength with reducing our negative impact and doing business ethically.
Mexx became part of HVEG Group at the end of 2024. HVEG is a fashion company that offers affordable fashion while working to improve its environmental and social practices, aiming to balance people, planet and profit.
In January 2026, we completed our third EcoVadis assessments for RNF and Mexx. EcoVadis assesses companies on four themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
We achieved a score of 66/100 and received a bronze medal (February 2026). Ecovadis awards this medal to companies in the top 35% of all companies it rates.
Our carbon footprint
Together with HVEG Group and in partnership with Carbonfact, we calculated the carbon footprint of RNF and Mexx for the baseline year 2025, covering Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. The final results became available in Q2 2026.
Based on this baseline, we are now developing climate targets together with HVEG. We will publish these targets once they are set and report on our carbon foot print annually.

We're stronger together. By partnering with international organisations, we work to improve social and environmental standards in our supply chain.
amfori
RNF Group and Mexx International are proud members of amfori. Through the amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), we monitor and promote social standards at the production facilities we source from. We are committed to the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct and expect our suppliers, their employees, agents and subcontractors to do the same, as set out in our Supplier Code of Contact.
BETTER COTTON INITIATIVE
Since mid-2023, Mexx has been a Brand Member of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), the world's leading sustainability initiative for cotton. Through this membership, Mexx is committed to contribute to the improvement of cotton farming practices globally.
In 2025, Mexx sourced 27.6% of its cotton as BCI Cotton. We're actively working to increase this share in the years ahead.
